Mrs. Petee is Chief Advocacy, Community and Government Relations Officer and Chief Communications Officer with ProMedica Health System, a role in which she serves as the organization?s primary liaison with elected officials and community leaders on issues pertinent to ProMedica Health System, its affiliates and its patients. She serves on various Boards and Committees affiliated with the Ohio and Michigan Hospital Associations, Ohio Children?s Hospital Association, and the American Hospital Association.

 

Barbara has a 22-year tenure with ProMedica Health System and, in addition to her Government Relations role, manages all corporate sponsorship funds for events, programs and special functions endorsed by ProMedica Health System and its entities; and initiates various grassroots and education campaigns to employees, physicians, board members, and volunteers on health and wellness issues that impact the hospital, business units, health system, industry and/or community.

 

Barbara's professional and community affiliations include the Greater Toledo Urban League and Lourdes College Masters of Organizational Leadership Board.? She is the recipient of numerous professional awards and recognitions, and a published author of two novels.

 

Barbara lives in Sylvania, Ohio with her husband, Tim and two children.
