Senior Vice President, Planning & Business Development

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

 

Mr. Ellingwood joined Cincinnati Children’s in 1997.  His primary role is the management of the strategic planning and business development activities of the medical center.  Mr. Ellingwood is responsible for the drug and poison information center and medical staff services. He also oversees institutional relationships with community physicians.  In this capacity, he serves on the Board of the Tristate Physician Hospital Organization and serves as President of Child Health Administrative Services (CHAS), a medical services organization for community practices, specializing in practice management support. He is also accountable for the marketing and communications, government relations, community relations, and child advocacy activities of Cincinnati Children’s. Most recently, he is in a leadership role for the development and evolution of the institution’s international and domestic affiliations with other hospitals and health systems.
